Position: Process Operator at AB InBev April 2024

As a Process Operator, you’ll play a vital role in our brewing and yeast associated process areas. You’ll be responsible for executing quality control checks, coaching team members, and supporting the Brewing Area Manager in production tasks. Here’s what you can expect:

Key Outputs and Responsibilities:

  1. Day Time Based Production Performance and Processes:
    • Manage yeast availability according to the production plan.
    • Maintain high levels of hygiene within the production area.
    • Interpret and implement production plans related to yeast availability.
    • Monitor and control production processes on shift using VPO standards.
    • Perform quality analysis to ensure process quality and productivity.
  2. Shift Team Performance:
    • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Communicate effectively in the workplace.
    • Use escalation procedures to reduce reaction time.
    • Execute VPO implementation plans and goals.
  3. Administration:
    • Apply administration systems and procedures.
    • Contribute to self and team development.
    • Ensure timely execution of all administration tasks.
  4. Problem Solving:
    • Apply problem-solving techniques and principles.
    • Initiate problem-solving processes as per triggers on the OWS.
  5. Development:
    • Drive your development plan.
    • Ensure compliance with training requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma or equivalent (Food Science and Technology / Laboratory Technician).
  • Completed IST traineeship.
  • Minimum 12 months on-the-job training in SCAP process (6 months).
  • 5 years’ experience in a brewing environment or previous experience in a process-controlled manufacturing environment, preferably in food FMCG products.
  • Understanding of the brewing process value chain.
  • PC literacy (Microsoft/SAP).
