Criteria and Prerequisites for Admission

Bachelor Degree in Wildlife Management

If your goal is to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Management, the entry criteria involve having:

  • Two principal passes in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Agriculture, Nutrition, Advanced Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, or Environment.

Bachelor Degree in Wildlife Tourism

For those aspiring to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Tourism, the entry criteria encompass:

  • Two principal passes in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Agriculture, Nutrition, Advanced Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, History, English Language, Environment, Tourism, Tourism Geography, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or Tourism Marketing.

Ordinary Diploma in Wildlife Management

To pursue an Ordinary Diploma in Wildlife Management, you should meet one of the following entry requirements:

  • Possess a Technician Certificate (NTA 5) in Wildlife Management OR Technician Certificate (NTA 5) in Wildlife Law Enforcement from institutions recognized by NACTE (National Council for Technical Education).

Ordinary Diploma in Wildlife Tourism

For those eyeing an Ordinary Diploma in Wildlife Tourism, the entry prerequisites are:

  • Hold a Technician Certificate (NTA 5) in Wildlife Tourism OR Technician Certificate (NTA 5) in Tour Guiding from institutions recognized by NACTE.

Basic Technician Certificate in Wildlife Management

To be eligible for a Basic Technician Certificate in Wildlife Management, you should meet either of the following criteria:

  • Possess a Certificate of Secondary Education (or its equivalent) with a minimum of four passes in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Mathematics, Agriculture, English, and Nutrition.

OR

  • Hold a Vocational Training Award III in disciplines like Livestock, Fishery, Agriculture, Beekeeping, and Forestry from institutions recognized by the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA). If you’re applying with VTA III, you must have obtained four passes in the Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE).
