Entry Requirements for Diploma in Science and Laboratory Technology: To be admitted to the ordinary Diploma in Science and Laboratory Technology program at institutions like the Muslim University of Morogoro and Mwenge Catholic University, applicants should be graduates of Form Four with at least four passes in the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE). These passes should be in Physics/Engineering Science, English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and Basic Mathematics, OR National Vocational Award (NVA) III or Trade Test Grade I with the CSEE certificate.

Entry Requirements for Diploma in Laboratory Technology: For admission to the Diploma in Laboratory Technology program at Sokoine University of Agriculture, applicants should be high school graduates who have passed their Advanced Level certificates. They need to have passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, with one of these subjects being passed at the Principal level with two points (E grade). Candidates should also have passed Biology at credit level in CSEE, or have a Basic Technician Certificate from a recognized institution, or a Certificate of Secondary Education with passes in Biology and Chemistry. Trade test certificates should be at least grade II.

Entry Requirements for Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences: For acceptance into the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences program, applicants should have an advanced level certificate of secondary education with three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, achieving a minimum of 6 points. A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology, along with at least E grade in Physics, is required.
