Alternatively, candidates can have completed the Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the Business Cluster.

Bachelor of Arts with Education (BAED)

All form six graduates aspiring to apply for the Bachelor of Arts with Education course at Catholic University College of Mbeya CUCoM must have two principal passes in the following subjects: Kiswahili, English, History, Geography, or Economics, with a minimum Institutional Admission Points of 4 Points. As for applicants with equivalent qualifications, they must possess a diploma in Education with an average of ‘B’ or a GPA of 3.0.

Direct Qualification: To be eligible for direct qualification, candidates should have two principal passes in any subjects. If one of the principal passes is not in Mathematics, a subsidiary pass or credit pass at O’ Level is required, with a minimum Institutional Admission Points of 4 Points.

Equivalent Qualification: For equivalent qualification, applicants should possess a Diploma in Business Administration, Business Studies, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Procurement and Supplies Management, or Entrepreneurship, with an average of ‘B’ or a GPA of 3.0.

Bachelor of Laws

Direct Qualification: For direct qualification, candidates must have two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Arabic, French, Fine Art, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science, or Nutrition. If one of the principals is not English, applicants must have a minimum of “D” grade in English at O-Level or have completed the Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0, with a minimum Institutional Admission Points of 4 Points.

Equivalent Qualification: For equivalent qualification, candidates should possess a Diploma in Law or Law Enforcement with an average of ‘B’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. Alternatively, they can have completed the Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

To apply for the Certificate in Accounting and Finance course at Catholic University College of Mbeya, all applicants must be Form Four graduates with at least four passes minimum of D’s from non-religious subjects in their final NECTA examination.
